Dean SA is responsible for Student Activities and Alumni Relations at VJTI. Besides these, Dean SA supervises and guides Training and Placement office. Dr. S. G. Bhirud, Professor of Computer Engineering and Information Technology is the current incumbent.
VJTI Students Social Group
With a view to encourage the overall development of the students, the institute has constituted Social Group with all as it’s members. The Social Group organizes extracurricular and co-curricular activities and events on technology, dramatics, debates, exhibitions, lectures etc. along with intercollegiate competitions during the year through it’s technical, sports, and cultural arms.
Students Technical Committee
Technovanza is organized in December is one of the most awaited annual techno-management event reaching out to students and professionals. Technovanza has grown exponentially in the past few years to scale new height. The student based organization has managed to attract many eminent personalities to visit VJTI and speak/interact with students.
Students Sports Committee
Enthusia – annual sports event is organized by this group in Dec-Jan. The gymkhana is concerned with sports and fitness, both outdoor and indoor. VJTI has playgrounds for cricket, football, volleyball, basket ball etc.
Students Cultural Committee
Pratibimb, VJTI’s Socio-cultural extravaganza is organized by this group – enveloping Mumbai’s young and artistic minds into an amalgamation of creativity and imagination.
Rangawardhan – Students Marathi dramatics and cultural Committee
Rangawardhan, the Annual Marathi Cultural Fest, is among the various cultural activities of VJTI. Preserving the Marathi culture and adapting to the modernization, Rangawardhan has carved a special niche for itself in everyone’s heart.
Students E-Cell Committee
Entrepreneurship Cell is a non-profit hub run by the enthusiastic students of VJTI to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship and business acumen among the students. It accelerates the journey from an innovative idea to a commercial success by means of a myriad of competitions, hands-on workshops and one-on-one mentoring.
Students Debate and literary Activities Committee
Debate and Literary Activities, known as the DLA, encompasses everything ranging from Literature and Debates to MUNs and Creative Writing with aim to help students gain soft-skills and emerge as excellent engineers and brilliant communicators. The DLA coordinates and executes the publication of VJTI Newsletter, “VJNews”.
