Vivek Naik

Er. Vivek Naik is presently on the committee of Bureau of Indian Standards. Er. Vivek Naik started his career as Erection Engineer in Denmark and was controlling five Tower Cairns and completed construction of 2600 flats in a span of three years. He worked at Hai Saddam project at Iraq for the construction of Underground Coffer dams, Pump Houses, Storm Water pumping, Gas lines and Roads. He constructed 32 sub-stations, 24 School Buildings and 11 Public Buildings including Mosque and Shopping Mall.

He was Project Manager for the Construction of Palace of Sheikh Mohamed at Doha, Quatar, worked on special deputation in Construction Chemicals at Copenhagen, Denmark. In 1989, he started Black Cat Enterprises, Repairs and Restoration Company which has done some prestigious Restoration and Repairs of more than 100 Railway Bridges, more than 25 Road Projects and it is the only Company in the world, which has done the Repair and Restoration work at Taj Mahal – Agra and they have received special honour for the same.

Vivek Naik has extensively worked on the Industries for Rehabilitation of Power Plants, Steel Plants. He worked for Defense Ministry for the restoration of underground structures, large-scale water proofing and restoration work for more than 100 textile mills all over India.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM Ahmedabad. He has done a certificate course in Export Trade.

Vivek Naik has filed six patents and patent on “High Efficiency low slum loss Superplasticizer based on comb Shaped Polycarboxylate Ether as well as the process for manufacture thereof” is already approved.

He has received special honours such as “VIJAY SHREE” Award at the hands of Governor and “VIJAY RATNA” award at the hands of Ministry of Home – Mr. K.C. Pant. As well as CIDC Vishwakarma Award.

Er. Vivek Naik is an independent speaker on concrete technology, repair & restoration, maintenance, waterproofing and innovations in construction.
