As part of the M.Tech Construction Management curriculum, the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department organized a site visit to the residential staff quarters located at the old Water Treatment Plant (WTP) premises in MIDC Patalganga. The primary goal was to gain first-hand insight into the structural auditing of old buildings and the execution of infrastructure projects such as concrete road construction with RCC gutters and drainage nallas. The visit provided invaluable field exposure, allowing students to connect classroom theories with real-world practices. Observing structural audit process and road and drainage construction up close enhanced practical understanding of students and inspired greater appreciation for the technical intricacies involved in civil engineering projects.
