Study Tour to Global Pagoda Vipassana Center, Borivli, Mumbai
Faculty members Dr. Mugdha Dongre and Prof. Netaji Kadam, along with first-year B. Tech students (all branches) enrolled for CC (Meditation), visited the Global Vipassana Pagoda as a study tour to understand the importance of meditation in day-to-day life. Mr. Shakti and Mr. Ashok explained the importance of meditation and the history of the Pagoda center to students.
Global Vipassana Pagoda is a meditation hall near Gorai, Mumbai. The Global Vipassana Pagoda has been built out of gratitude to the Buddha, his teaching, and the community of monks practicing his teaching. Its traditional Burmese design is an expression of gratitude towards the country of Myanmar for preserving the practice of Vipassana.
The study tour to the Global Vipassana Pagoda was more than just a day away from the classroom; it was a holistic experience that bridged the gap between technological excellence and spiritual well-being.
