The Electrical Department of VJTI organized an industrial visit to the Hydro Power Plant, Vaitarna (Igatpuri), on November 7, 2023.

The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to the operations and infrastructure of a hydroelectric power plant. Students gained valuable insights into the working mechanisms and the interior systems of the plant. The visit helped clarify complex concepts and technical terms that are challenging to comprehend through textbooks alone.

This hands-on experience enriched the students' understanding of hydroelectric power generation and its real-world applications.
