Dr Lalit Kumar Singh

Dr. Lalit Kumar Singh is a Scientist and Head of Artificial Intelligence Applications section of Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, for 23 years, and has distinction of working on Pressurized Heavy Water Reactors (PHWR) and Light Water Reactors (LWR).

He has an illustrious career and succeeds in several critical jobs assigned to him in his illustrious career, though, each of them was challenging.

His assignments over the years range from design, development, testing, IV&V, related research and site validation of the safety critical computer-based systems of Indian Nuclear Power Plants. He is also a Faculty in Nuclear Training Centre.

He holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science & Information Technology, from Institute of Engineering & Technology, Rohilkhand University, Bareilly in the year 2000 and completed a Ph.D. thesis on “Modeling for Early Reliability Prediction of Software Systems” from Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) – IIT (BHU).

He is honoured with IEEE K. Shankar Award, 2021 and Honored as Distinguished Scientist by AMU, Aligarh for the year 2021

His research Interests are Software Engineering, Software Security, System Security, Software Reliability, Networking, Data Structures, Image Processing, Mathematical Modelling, System Reliability, System Safety, Mathematical Modeling, Artificial Neural Network, AI, ML.

His key experience areas are Software Security, Software Reliability of Computer Based Systems of Nuclear Power Plants, Image Processing.
