NCC VJTI Organized Blood Donation Camp on NCC Day

On the occasion of NCC Day, a Blood Donation Camp was organized by NCC VJTI on Wednesday, 12th November 2025. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Cadets, Students, Faculty, Staff, PI Staff, and Security Guards of VJTI, Mumbai–19.

Dr. Sachin Kore, Director, VJTI, warmly welcomed the team of doctors and staff from Tata Memorial Hospital, Parel, and encouraged the cadets for their noble contribution. A total of 111 blood units were collected from 172 registered participants.

The camp concluded successfully with appreciation extended to the Tata Memorial Hospital team, NCC VJTI Cadets, and all stakeholders who contributed their support to this meaningful cause. The event was formally acknowledged by Dr. R. N. Awale, Deputy Director, VJTI Mumbai, highlighting the collective effort and commitment toward community welfare.

SSB Orientation Lecture by Col. Jitendra Sahastrabudhe (Retd.)

Jai Hind We were honored to host a thought-provoking and insightful guest lecture series on the "Joining Armed Forces and Services Selection Board (SSB) Orientation", conducted by COL. JITENDRA SAHASTRABUDHE (Retd.)- a seasoned officer with vast experience in military leadership and selection protocols

Blood Donation Camp on 25th February 2025

Blood donation camp organised by VJTI NCC, NSS and Social groups on 25th February 2025, Tuesday received a participation from Students, Faculty, staff. Total blood donation units collected is 86 out of 132 reports. The camp completed successfully by appreciating the efforts of Tata Memorial Hospital team, VJTI NCC Cadets and all stakeholders helped and supported for the same.

VJTI NCC & Social Group, in collaboration with EBCRC, organized an Eye Donation Camp & Awareness Seminar on 25th Feb 2025.

Blood Donation Camp on 14th Nov. 2025

On 14th NOV. 2024 , 5 MAH EME COY (NCC VJTI) and Swacch VJTI, NSS teams successfully organized a Blood Donation Camp at Textile Hall , VJTI in collaboration with TATA Memorial Hospital and sponsored by HDFC Bank .with 176 reporting donors, we were honoured 103 Donors ( ANO NCC VJTI: Lt S. A. Khedkar , PI Staff OF 5 MAH EME COY NCC , NCC CADETS , Faculty and Students of VJTI) . Special Thanks to our distinguished Guests--- Officer Commanding of 5 MAH EME COY NCC: Lt. Col. Dhruv Saraswat, Dr. Sachin D. Kore (Director VJTI ),Dr. R. N. Awale (Deputy Director), Dr. K. K. Sangle (Dean Academics) and Dr. Suranjana Gangopadhyay (Faculty Incharge, Student Activities) .The team from Tata Memorial Hospital and HDFC bank appreciated efforts of NCC VJTI Cadets for Organizing the Blood Donation Camp.
