Rangawardhan 2024-25, VJTI’s annual celebration of art, culture, and creativity, was successfully conducted on 17th, 18th, and 19th December 2024. This vibrant event brought together students, faculty, and enthusiasts to showcase talent, foster creativity, and celebrate the spirit of togetherness.

Day 1: A Colorful Beginning to Rangawardhan 2024-25

The first day of Rangawardhan was a celebration of vibrant colors, cultural richness, and unbridled excitement. The event began with a grand inauguration ceremony that set the tone for the festivities. Enthralling cultural performances, including Dhol-Tasha, Lezhim, and Mallakhamb, captivated the audience and filled the atmosphere with energy and pride.

The presence of the esteemed chief guest, Hon. Shri Sachin Khedekar, a renowned actor, director, and writer, added immense grandeur to the occasion. Highlights of the inauguration included the Swarshahi Dhol Pathak and a mesmerizing Mallakhamb performance by the talented students of Shri Samarth Vyayam Mandir. A heartfelt chat session with Sachin Khedekar Sir further enriched the event, leaving the audience inspired.

The day continued with the enchanting session ‘Gappa Aani Baranch Kahi’, where beloved actress Tejashree Pradhan shared her inspiring journey, captivating stories, and life lessons with the audience. Her presence added warmth and inspiration to the program.

Later, the singing competition “Sur Niragas Ho” took the spotlight, transporting the audience into a melodious world of voices. Renowned singer Aniruddha Joshi, as the judge, elevated the competition with his expertise, while the contestants' soulful performances left everyone spellbound.

The second day of Rangawardhan was filled with energy, creativity, and inspiration. The day began with an insightful interview by Padmashree Uday Deshpande Sir, whose experiences inspired the audience to move forward with renewed confidence.

The inter-branch Rangoli competition added a splash of artistic flair, showcasing stunning creations bursting with colors. Renowned comedian Saurabh Bhosale had the audience in fits of laughter with his stand-up performance, while a motivational lecture by IPS Krishna Prakash Sir energized everyone with insights on dreams and goals.

The session "Kalakar Katta" featured YouTuber Mr. Legend and podcaster Jayanti Waghdhare, who became role models for youthful creativity. The "Lavani Samrajni" competition, judged by Jindasa Kurtadkar, captivated the audience with mesmerizing performances, and the "Nrityavishkaar" dance competition, judged by Subodh Bhave, Vaidehi Parashuram, and Arya Ambekar, brought excitement and artistic excellence.

The day concluded on a high note with a lively DJ performance by H2O Brothers, getting everyone on their feet. This vibrant day of Rangawardhan beautifully blended joy, artistry, and inspiration.

Day 3: A Celebration of Art, Culture, and Unity

The third day of Rangawardhan was a vibrant celebration filled with a myriad of events. The day started with a "Musical Chat Session" featuring the esteemed harmonium player, Anand Joshi Sir. This was followed by the "Ekapatri" one-act competition, where the contestants' remarkable acting skills deeply resonated with the audience.

Next came the inter-branch competition, "Saaj Sanskruticha," in which each branch proudly showcased the rich and diverse cultures of Maharashtra. These colorful performances highlighted the state’s cultural grandeur, leaving the audience enthralled. Adding to the excitement were the lively games of "Aamchyasarkhe Aamhich," which brought immense joy and enthusiasm to the final-year students.

The day’s final session was an emotional and inspiring prize distribution and felicitation ceremony. Former members and outstanding student contributors, who played significant roles in Rangawardhan's journey, were honored, along with the winners of various competitions.

The day concluded with an enchanting musical concert by Hrishikesh Ranade, whose soulful melodies transported the audience to a realm of pure delight.
